AOpen announces new high performance media player Digital Engine DE67 With compact size platform, AOpen DE67 supports latest Sandy Bridge CPU and USB 3.0 ports for high-end applications AOpen’s Digital Engine® series is very flexible and can be applied to many different applications especially for KIOSK and digital signage solutions. In 2011, the latest model of Digital Engine® series is DE67. The Digital Engine® DE67 is in a 1.25L compact size and powered with second generation Intel Core i7/i5 processor (Sandy Bridge) via Intel QM67 chipset. These features made it the top of the line media player of application computer. The compact size of Digital Engine® DE67 makes it easy to install behind displays with mounting kits or in narrow spaces. And its internal adapts with Intel® Core™ i7/i5 CPU and up to 8G dual channel SO-DIMM DDRIII 1066/1333MHz memory. The QM67 chipset and Core i7/i5 CPU can enable Intel® Flexible Display Interface to playback smooth Full HD 1080P video and dual display via HDMI and DVI ports to fulfill high-end applications. Meanwhile, DE67 can output 5.1 channels of audio output to create immersive hearing experience. With two mini Card slots, you can add on more functions including analog/digital TV tuner and Wireless LAN. It also has two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, and RS232 ports for greater connection capability. As the most compact application computer, Digital Engine® DE67 equips with Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT), the hardware-based technology for remotely managing and securing. For long time operation, each and every AOpen Digital Engine® has passed shock and vibration operation tests with 40,000 hour MTBF, 8G operation shock and 0.5Grms operation vibration tests.
