Lenel’s standard mullion mount reader (LPMM-6800) offers the read range of a mid-range reader at the cost of a “mini.” It is designed to be mounted directly on a metal door frame/mullion. Because it is metal-compensated, there is minimal reduction in read range. The LPMM-6800 has a read range of 6 to 8 in. (152 to 203 mm). It is designed for indoor and outdoor applications. The LPMM-6800’s electronics are potted with a UL-approved compound that makes them impervious to the elements. The reader is manufactured in an ISO 9000-certified facility to achieve the highest quality standard. It is highly reliable, warranted for life, and available in either dark gray (standard) or beige color. The LPMM-6800 reader can easily be configured to meet the needs of virtually any access control system. The reader outputs both Wiegand and RS-232 data, and features annunciator and LED feedback.
