The series 300-N from N-Tron provides compact Ethernet Switches, which were designed for the expansion of Ethernet networks. Each Light Managed Industrial Switch provides full?wire speed communication, auto-sensing and auto-negotiation capabilities and an extended range of features for the demands of industrial data acquisition, control and Ethernet I/O applications. Handling up to 4,096 MAC addresses, these products support extremely sophisticated and complex network architectures.
The Switches of the series 300-N with the N?View option, can be monitored using standard OPC compliant software in order to provide complete network monitoring and performance values. The N-View OPC software e.g. transmitted Switch and port status information of N-View capable Switches for use in the popular OPC client HMI software packages.
The product range includes various port configurations, devices with RJ45 copper ports only to combinations with up to two 100Base FX ports. Fiber optic units support communication over extended distances up to 80 km.
The compact, IP30 protected, metal housing of the Switches and the easy mounting allow these devices to be used anywhere on the network.
In addition, the series 300 has the UL certification for the use in hazardous locations Class I, Division 2, the IEEE 1613 conformity for substations, NEMA TS1/TS2 for traffic control systems and the models are also ABS approved for maritime environments.
